North Beach Art Gallery invites you to its March Exhibition on Thursday, March 20, 2025, from 6-9 p.m. at 3334 NE 34th Street, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33308. The event features award-winning watercolor artist John Bowen and a live performance by Anthony Corrado Lalli. Proceeds will benefit North Beach Art and Charity, Inc., a 501(c)(3) organization supporting local arts and community initiatives.
John, an award-winning artist and author, was born in The Bronx, NYC, in 1941. After serving as an illustrator in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War, he spent over 40 years in advertising while passionately pursuing watercolor painting. A signature member of the Gold Coast and Florida Watercolor Societies and the American Society of Marine Artists, John's work has earned widespread acclaim. In 2013, he self-published Eleven Months and Nineteen Days, an illustrated memoir of his Vietnam experience, which won a Silver Medal from the Florida Authors and Publishers Association. John's artistry continues to inspire, blending his rich history with his mastery of watercolor.
Anthony Corrado is a multi-instrumental performer, composer, recording artist, and bandleader. His instruments include saxophone, flute, clarinet, trumpet, guitar, and vocals. He ranges in styles from Jazz, Swinging Vocals, Latin-Jazz, Bebop, Smooth Jazz, R&B, Funk, Pop, Rock, Classical, and more. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Music Education from Florida International University and has taught in public schools K-12. Anthony Corrado’s philosophy is always to work to grow, expand, and develop his musical talent, composing, recording, and bringing joy, healing, and inspiration to the world.

Gallery owner Brooke Trace expressed enthusiasm for the event, stating, "We are pleased to present our local talented artists' March exhibition for the North Beach Art & Charity Series to enhance your experience with culture, art and music." The gallery takes pride in presenting exceptional talent to the community. Supporting local artists helps foster cultural identity and pride, stimulates creativity, and enhances the well-being of our neighborhood through the positive social impact of art.
Entry to the event is a $25 donation at the door, which includes two complimentary beverages and appetizers. A silent auction, supported by community businesses, will be held to support the benefit of North Beach Art and Charity, Inc. and a 50/50 cash raffle.
